The test tube holder is the holder made out of wire in your lab drawer. You hold it in your hand and squeeze on the handles to open the other end, into which you then insert a test tube. This small piece of equipment does nothing except hold test tubes.

Note: test tube holders are stored in your lab drawer. Test tube racks are not stored in your lab drawer. Test tube racks are free-standing racks with holes in them which hold test tubes. We do not have enough of these to go around if all students store one in their lab drawer.

Location: Student lab drawer equipment.

Cost: no charge to organic chem students. If you lose yours, replace it from the supply on the cart in the front of the main stockroom.
