Beakers are a general purpose item of glassware in the organic chem labs. They are used as distillation receiving containers, to hold different layers in an extraction, as reaction flasks, to heat solvent for crystallizations, as the crystallization flask, as an ice bath, etc.
Location: student lab drawer equipment. Each drawer should have 4 beakers total, of any size from 10 mL to 400 mL. You can always exchange a beaker for one of a different size in the stockroom.
